The director of Right Livelihood College, Dato Dr. Anwar Fazal(right)

I might not mention about my internship in Penang in my previous post. In fact, I am in Penang now. I was in Brunei for one month after I completed the exchange programme in Universiti Sains Malaysia last semester in May but I went back to Penang in June for an internship programme. I completed by internship few days ago and now only couple of days left before I am going back to Brunei Darussalam. This year, I spend most of my months in Penang, I might want to go back in December. I was suppose to go to Ho Chih Minh, Vietnam yesterday 28th July 2011 but I decided not to go due to some unavoidable plans.

I had a great opportunity to be able to do my internship at the two recipients of the Alternative Nobel Prize known as Right Livelihood Award ; the Right Livelihood College, Dato Dr Anwar Fazal (my boss) and the Friends of Earth Malaysia (Sahabat Alam Malaysia). There are so many thing that I learned, so many useful exposures that I gained such as the chance to attend Seminar on refugees; in conjunction with the refugees day in June, attending the Asia-Europe Program on Cultural Heritage, attending the dialogue between the department of wildlife and non-governmental organizations on the issues about Tiger Valley, giving a presentation about Sahabat Alam Malaysia to visitors from Iran, attending 6th Thinklab Conference & others. Highlights of the internship; great inspirational boss, great colleagues, nice working environment, great exposures on many different things, learning new things.
