The Canopy walk in Temburong

Saturday, January 16, 2010

this is not a leaf.this is an insect which look like a leaf.

From Kuala Belalong Field Study Centre (KBFSC), it takes approximately less than 5 minutes to be able to reach the jetty that linked to the canopy walk by a small longboat called temuai (it means boat in Iban language).

We went up for a short hiking before we were able to go for the canopy walk. It was an exhilarating moment to be able to see the pristine virgin rain forest of Brunei Darussalam. I was a little nervous before making my way up to the stairs of the canopy bridge.Only two persons are allowed to cross the bridge at one time. Going up to the canopy walk together with the participants and volunteers of Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Global Change Workshop 2010 was definately awesome!

if you ask me,will I come back again for another Canopy walk?
Definately..! Its worth the sweat..! lol
