the cool interactive tool..!

the sovernier small shop

we met new friends, the SSEAYP delegates.(R)from Myanmar and in the centre from Cambodia

I went to Bandar (Brunei town) last few weeks, just want to see the newly established building of Kg Ayer Cultural and Tourism Gallery that was finally build that adds to Brunei attractions in the town. The $3 million building had impressed me but I expect more.

To get there, hire a water taxi which approximately costs $0.50 to $1.00 per way, it varies depending the water taxis. if you are lucky you might get a free transportation to go to the place and the journey takes less than 5 minutes.Free admission to enter the Kg Ayer Cultural and Tourism Gallery.

Nothing much to expect except for the gallaries, the tower, the interactive tool, the sovernier shop and the scenery of water village but the building definately situated at strategic location, at the centre of water village.

The Year of Regrets

Hi guys. Have you prepare your New Year 2010 Resolution yet?Have you successfully achieved your 2009 goals?Do you happy and satisfy with Year 2009 so far? Does it brings happiness or sadness to you?

As for me, Year 2009 brought mixtures of feelings. Though I am quite happy with it, there are some parts of 2009 that made me frustrated. In fact, I shall call Year 2009 as a year of regrets. Don't ask me in details because there's no way I am gonna elaborate more about it. Some close friends would understand some still in doubts about what are the things that really bothers me in Year 2009. Just let it be a history.

Towards the second half of the year, I realized how passive I was in joining activities. I refuse to involve with lots of activities like I used to. I gained weight, that's for sure.My perspective towards life has changed and there are some areas of my life that had demotivates me. My self confidence decreased and bla..bla..bla..

Year 2009 also witness few unexpected good and bad things and yes, i lose my dating bet with the girls. (I was so confident that Im gna win the bet but in the end i lose..!, but it's okay) *lol*According to the bet, those who lose will treat sushi to those who won and effa won the bet.

My expectations for Year 2010..?
1)Increase my travel frequency (Insyallah). I had several plans already and bought the air tickets to Penang in May and Cambodia in July.
2)Self-study on tourism industry and knowledge
3)Having a part-time job while studying
4)Exercise more to have a healthy living
5) to have a happy life
6) and bla..bla..bla..bla..

Weird Incidents

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

I had no idea what happen with the lines. For the past few months Ive been experiencing weird encounters on the lines. When I said the lines, it includes my dst line, b.mobile line as well as my house phone line.

First, let me describe about the dst line. This thing I experienced few days ago when I was at the mall with my sister. My boyfriend called through my dst line and at first I thought it wasn't him. U know why? because he's calling me using brunei number fixed line..! at first glance I thought he was in Brunei but surprisingly, he was of course in his country..! So, I was curious why does he called me from Malaysia to Brunei, the number that appear is Bruneian number?..im just curious how it might happen. Another incident happened few week ago, he called me to my dst line and guess what..?he claimed that i wasn't the one who answering the phone.someone picked up the phone, different people, different voices with bruneian slang but it wasn't me.Well, all the time my phone is with me and the moment when he called,I was the only one who's holding my mobile and how is it possible.? I asked him whether he accidentally called wrong number but he said he was absolutely sure the number that he called, besides he mentioned it was a bruneian stranger who picked up the call (using bruneian slang)

Secondly, the b.mobile line. there this number that keep on calling..same number..I have it record on my phone.I remember the first time I bought this newly line at the mall few months ago and few weeks after that I received a text from this person, I couldn't understand the language that the person was using so I replied him that he was texting wrong number. So few weeks, few months and even today I received the called again, the same number..and today, when that person said hello and I said yes? he said wrong number. I remember the previous called, he was looking for someone and I said, wrong number and few weeks after that he was speaking with different language and I said wrong number and today, isn't it ridiculous when that person should already know that when he called my number, he would have get a wrong person.!

But i am very sure behind all this, there must be an explanation to it,right? technical problem perhaps?but now,I starting to question, how secure the lines are?

me & Binh (she is beuatiful as always..!)

Finally I was able to see my old friend, Binh from Vietnam. Seriously, it was great to see her..! I wish she has more time.We drove all the way from Brunei to Tanjong maya,Tutong just to see her at her foster parents' house and luckily the distance is not that far. I think it takes less than 45 minutes from Rimba. The last time we met was when we were on the same program ASEAN Campus Journalists/Leaders Exchange Program Phase 2 in 2006 and its been 3 years!

Currently she's participating the SSEAYP Program and will be going back to the Nippon Maru ship tomorrow, 11th December (Friday) and hopefully I can make it see her again for the last time.

This was in 2006..!

I miss you,people..!! :( Unfortunately, we lost contacts with the Burmese and the Cambodians..! Too bad..! we'll try our best to contact them back..Insyallah

The 'WoW' moment!

Wednesday, December 9, 2009

The best thing about travelling is when you meet best people.regardless of your budget.Agree? Away from home means that people is seeking for best time to rejuvenating themselves. Temporarily to get away from their normal typical daily routine also means that we seek for the best services and better treatment during our holiday.

I just got back from Kota Kinabalu yesterday afternoon via Airasia.com. Though the trip was really short..from 6th of December (Sunday) until yesterday (Tuesday)9th of December, I was definitely having a 'WoW!' moment! We spent most of our time at the one borneo, just like the previous short trip in October.

From what I can observe, the people of Kota Kinabalu was very welcoming from the hotel staff, waiter to the manager and it makes you want to come back again. and yeah I definitely going to Kota Kinabalu next year partly because of other reason as well. *lol*

You'll happy with the services provided at the Square restaurant (@ Novotel) and the way the waiter gives the service, it makes you feel that you are at a very luxurious restaurant.
